Students and staff at the Sunshine Coast Technical Trade Training Centre (SCTTTC) have the responsibility to adhere to a code of conduct that exhibits a high standard of personal conduct that supports operating as an industry site.
The SCTTTC has a zero tolerance of:
- poor behaviour
- attitude
- wilful non-compliance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
It is our intent that students exhibit quality skills and attitudes that will help them become positive members of the SCTTTC environment as well as demonstrating employable skills.
Workplace health and safety
At all times, staff and students are required to conduct themselves in a safe manner, adhering to workplace health and safety requirements.
Management of workplace health and safety is an integral and important part of overall management responsibilities, and applies to all areas of operation within the department. Consultation and participation with staff and others on health and safety issues will be promoted.
Employees of the department and all members of the school community are encouraged to:
- participate in the development of the department’s health and safety program
- support management efforts by following safe work procedures.
