Facilities

Sunshine Coast Technical Trade Training Centre (SCTTTC) boasts four individual training rooms with state of the art teaching equipment. Training rooms 1 and 2 have the ability to open out to one large training room with a holding capacity of 50 theatre style chairs.

SCTTTC also has a ‘free standing training room’, which is ideally suited to individual class groups. This smaller structure sits just outside of our main building and incorporates seating up to 30.

The SCTTTC ‘workshop’ is a tradesperson’s dream and is equipped with all of the necessary tools and equipment required for comprehensive learning along with sixteen mobile work benches allowing each student their own area to conduct practical tasks. Our ‘workshop’ has both an indoor and outdoor section to encompass the learning of all areas of the construction trades along with an external ‘sand pit’ for simulated work.

Additionally, we have two tutorial rooms, adjacent to the workshop, which also have the ability to open into one large classroom. Both tutorial rooms have a full view of the workshop enabling Trainers/Students to go from practical to theoretical work seamlessly.

All SCTTTC students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of high quality hand and power tools under the careful instruction of our qualified trainers.

Hire of venue

SCTTTC individual training room/s and workshop areas are available for venue hire. However as we are a State Schooling site, there are governing restrictions on our facility, therefore all venue hire will be discussed by appointment.

Possible times for venue hire may include school holidays and evenings which could be utilised for staff meetings, training sessions, conferences and forums.

Along with the four individual training rooms, the workshop includes both an indoor and outdoor area. There is also a kitchenette available which is equipped with a full sized refrigerator, freezer and a microwave for heating meals. Tea and coffee making facilities can be made available if required.
